Shi Zhecun is one of the most distinctive writer in modern literature history, in whose novels there are many characters affected by the traditional consciousness. With the modern expression formed, through showing and analyzing the figures who defect the traditional sense and ultimately follow it, showing special preference for the quiet state of the traditional aesthetic consciousness, these novels that combine the sense of tradition and modern expressions, display a unique style.Based on the novels written by Shi as the research object, this paper analysis the traditional consciousness novels from the traditional consciousness orientation, the traditional aesthetic tendency, and connecting with the use of modern form in the novels written by Shi, to discuss the origin and the value of the traditional consciousness in the novels written by Shi.This paper is divided into three parts.The first chapter will discuss from the distinct characters in the novel, analyzing their family moral consciousness respectively, and then discusses the characters’ betray in psychological and not conscientious to abide by in behavior for the traditional consciousness, namely the characters followed traditional moral ethics consciousness in tangled.The second chapter is to discuss the novels’traditional aesthetic orientation written by Shi, after the aesthetic psychological formed, the aesthetic tendency internalizes part of aesthetic consciousness, namely the traditional aesthetic consciousness.
