With China’s opening to the outside world, Chinese students’ passion for learning English is becoming more and more heated and English summer camp is attracting numerous students and parents’attention due to its special characteristics of combing with laugh and learning together in the class. There are different kinds of English summer camp, which can mainly be divided into domestic and international English summer camp while the paper mainly focuses on teenagers’domestic English summer camp. Through the analysis of research literatures, it turns out that English summer camp does have some advantages in elevating students’oral English and communicative ability, but the research about the English summer camp currently focuses on the reports of activities and the normalization of its market, while the research on the activities design is still limited.The author analyzes the current status and problems of teenagers’domestic English summer camp activities design from the aspects of activities design and students perspective using the methods of literature survey, interview and observation. Through analyzing the basic features of teenagers and domestic English summer camp, combining with her observation and summary in the camp, the author proposes5key factors: objective, guided, procedural, feedback and penetrable elements. Drawing on the Instructional design theory, the author designs the basic procedures of teenagers’domestic English summer camp in detail. Based on the key factors and procedures, the author plans some English camp activities and put them into use. Through analyzing the data derived from the questionnaires, it proves the effectiveness of the key factors and basic models while designing the English camp activities and the author hopes that it can provide some guidance for the related activities design.
