Zhejiang University of Science and Technology has held a Chinese summer camp with Hannover University of Applied Sciences in Germany for over ten years.As an important part of the Sino-German joint undergraduate training program,the camp aims to help German teachers and students understand Chinese culture,learn the Chinese language,and cultivate the intercultural communication ability between Chinese and German teachers and students.As a master of the program of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages,the author participated in the teaching and organization of the summer camp in 2017.Through questionnaires and interview with the German participants,this paper investigated the Chinese curriculum and cultural experience activities of the summer camp and made a comprehensive evaluation of the summer camp.According to the survey results and feedback from the teachers and students,it analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the camp from three aspects:pre-class preparation,curriculum design,after-school analysis and summary,and put forward some suggestions for the future summer camps in the future.The first chapter of this paper is an introduction to the reasons for this topic,the significance and purpose of this study,the research status quo of Chinese summer camps,research methods and innovation.The second chapter is the survey of the present situation of German Chinese summer camp,and an introduction to the summer camp held by Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology and Hanover University of Applied Science and Technology.The third chapter is about the preparatory work before the summer camp.The fourth chapter is the implementation and,the fifth chapter is the evaluation of the summer camp of Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology and Hanover University of Applied Science and Technology in Germany.The advantages and disadvantages are discussed,and some practical suggestions for improvement are put forward.Finally,a brief conclusion is made in the last part.
