The Revolution In Wuxi

This dissertation chooses Wuxi as the study object.Based on the description and analysis of social change in Wuxi round about the Revolution of1911, the author wants to find basic characteristic and important meaning of the Revolution of1911in Wuxi and diversify our study.In the introduction, the author mainly analyzes the significance of the title and briefly reviews the condition of the study. In addition, the author explains the research method and purpose.The main body is made up of three chapters.In the first chapter, we mainly introduce the development conditions of Wuxi capitalism, many up-risings of people caused by sharp social contradictions and preparation of bourgeois revolution.In the second chapter, we outline the process of the recovery of Wuxi, construction and reform of the new regime. Besides, we put great emphasis on the great contribution of QinYuliu.In the third chapter, the author presents unsettled political condition in Wuxi after recovery,the Type-conversion of Wuxi round about the Revolution of1911and a noticeable transformation in social customs.Finally, it sums up the feature of the dissertation, and offers a brief evaluation, on which basis it discusses the typical significance of the revolution of1911in Wuxi.
