"Dislocation" is a word I got form a brainwave. When we copy the elaborate-style painting,we may find it hard to avoiddislocation."Dislocation" is a defect, but also can produce an unexpected effect at the same time, which makes me think of Cezanne’s still life where the visual harmony is actually achieved by misplacement. Dislocation can better interpret my creative concepts in my Chinese painting:Keep a certain distance with mainstream culture and not to get too far."Keeping a certain distance" is to view a problem with an outsider perspective. This attitude can make me treat myself and my creation more rationally, so that I can see my weaknesses and strengths thoroughly. The distance can also highlight my personality and better express my inner feelings."Not to get too far" requires me to carry forward the Chinese national culture, convey the humanistic spirit of Chinese paintings and never forget to use the painting language. I put the connotation and meaning of "dislocation" into use to all fields of my life. I will learn to see the world dialectically and try to be a real artist.
