On The Combination Of Mind Analysis And Self Creation In The Flower-and-bird Paintings Of Artist Xu Wei

In the late Ming Dynasty,the development of Chinese literature and art entered an important turning point.The thought of this period has already broken through the curing mode of Neo Confucianism ethics,which pays attention to the freedom of spirit,the liberation of thought and the development of personality.Especially the Yangming Mind Theory,which means the collapse of the original system of science,is also a reform movement for the Cheng Zhu Neo Confucianism,as well as an end point to Song-Ming Neo-Confucianism.Yangming Mind Theory emphasized human's subjectivity and subjective initiative;which has influenced the development of Chinese painting art during the whole era of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and even modern paintings.Xu Wei,who is the first artist to grow up in such a background when Yangming Mind Theory is prosperous,is the main force and pioneer for the development of art in the late Ming dynasty.He not only has a unique contribution in the field of painting,but also extraordinary achievements in calligraphy,literature,art,philosophy and other aspects,which complement each other in various art forms,forming his aesthetics thoughts system,which leads Artist Xu Wei to become the most outstanding representative of the Mind Theory.This paper focuses on the excavation and understanding of "mind",thus,we can obtain the reasons why the literati pictures suddenly change.His tragic fate and rough uninhibited personality,making freehand brushwork paintings which originates from the Song Dynasty have a tremendous change in the late Ming Dynasty,which is the inevitable result of the development of Chinese painting.Artist Xu Wei plays an important role in taking over from the past and setting a new course for the future in paintings,which reach the peak of Chinese freehand brushwork of flowers and birds and become China's unique art style of paintings.The summary of the Mind performance in Xu Wei's paintings is bound to have a certain guiding significance for the development of the contemporary freehand brushwork of flowers and birds.This is the placement as well as guidance of my creation of aesthetic thought.
