Hindsight bias is a tendency to view event outcomes in hindsight as more inevitable or foreseeable than they appeared in foresight. The research on hindsight bias has more than30years so far, but it is still in the initial stage in China. Many studies have demonstrated the ubiquity and stability of hindsight bias. The research on hindsight bias influence factors is mainly focus on self-expression, cognitive style, intelligence and intellectual ability, less on the meta-cognitive, emotional state, achievement motivation for a more systematic study. In this study, we take633high school students as the research object. In present dissertation, three experiments are conducted to investigate the relationship of meta-cognitive, emotional state, achievement motivation between hindsight bias. The present findings showed that:(1) The effect of different meta-cognitive level on hindsight bias was significant difference. Compared with students with lower meta-cognitive level, students with higher meta-cognitive level showed less hindsight bias.(2) The effect of different achievement motivation level on hindsight bias was significant difference. Compared with students with lower achievement motivation level, students with higher achievement motivation level showed more hindsight bias.(3)The effect of different emotional state on hindsight bias was significant difference. Compared with students with the neutral emotional state and negative emotional state, students with the positive emotional state showed more hindsight bias. But there was no significant difference in the hindsight bias between positive emotional state and negative emotional state.
