Emotional resilience is a branch of psychological resilience, refers to the individual can produce positive emotions and has the ability to recover from negative emotions quickly.Emotional resilience is an emotional competence an individual has in daily life, which is very important for individuals to adapt to the environment quickly and to respond to the negative stimulation effectively.Students from junior middle school are unbalanced between physical development and psychological development, which likely leads to various conflicts and contradictions. They are prone to negative emotions in the face of negative stimulation from the outside world, which can affect their cognitive processing mechanism. In this paper, the emotional resilience questionnaire is used to test the students in one junior middle school of Yuncheng and the top 17% students are high emotional resilience as well as the last 17%students are low emotional resilience. The characteristics of cognitive bias are researched when the different emotional resilience students show attention bias and memory bias in face of different emotional words. This research has two experiment. One experiment is designed with 2 x 3 x 2 mixed factors. In this experiment, the independent variable has three: the level of emotional resilience is between-group variable, the character of emotional words which include positive, negative and neutral word is within-group variable, and the other within-group variable is probe point position. The dependent variable is reaction time,to which the effect of attention bias is researched according.Another experiment is designed with 2 x 2 mixed factors. Two independent variables are included in this experiment. One independent variable is the level of emotional resilience and the other is emotional word. The memory bias is researched based on two dependent variables: reaction time and accuracy. The following conclusions are drawn in this paper:1.When the emotional words(positive or negative)and neutral words appear at the same time, attention bias exists between high emotional resilience students and lowemotional resilience students. On the positive emotional words, there are no significant differences between high emotional resilience students and low emotional resilience students. However, low emotional resilience students always show attention to negative words.2.When the positive and negative words are presented at the same time, the reaction time of students who have high emotional resilience has no difference no matter the probe point is effective or ineffective but the low emotional resilience students show different reaction times. It shows that the different emotional resilience students have attention bias on negative emotion words, furthermore, the reaction time is shorter when the probe point is ineffective.3.The different emotional resilience students show significant differences when different character emotional words are presented. The high emotional resilience students have a higher accuracy on positive words than negative words meanwhile on negative words the accuracy of low emotional resilience students is higher.than positive words.Besides,The accuracy of high emotional resilience students is better than low emotional resilience students when positive words are showed, yet he accuracy of low emotional resilience students is better than high emotional resilience students when negative words are showed.
