From the primitive society, The Mongol nationality who originated from the remoteMongolian prairie with extremely bad living condition has gradually formed a set of culturesystem with its own national characteristics. The process from emergence, development toevolution is extremely slow; however, it is the northern nomadic culture which has strongartistic appeal and eternal charm that becomes the cohesion of the Mongolian and dynamic ofits development. The conflict and integration of Mongolian culture and Chinese traditionalculture, not only turned into the essence of Chinese culture, but also injected fresh blood tothe traditional Chinese culture immediately and brilliantly. Meanwhile, it is the culture strikeand integration that let Mongolian culture emits a unique ray of light, and plays theindispensable role in the history of Chinese culture. It is in this kind of Mongolian cultureexchange and integration background that a new literary style emerged in the Chinese literaryhistory which is the Yuan drama. It is another brilliant peak in the history of Chinese literaturefollowing the Tang poetry and Sung song; and it is the treasure of Chinese splendid culturewhose appear filled the blank in Chinese rap art. The development and prosperity of Yuandrama is profoundly influenced by the Mongolian culture both on lyrics and melody, andcultural connotation.The ruling ideas have ever been the ideas of its ruling class, no matter in which dynastyin Chinese history. It is the Mongolian that ruled the Yuan dynasty, with no exception, Yuandrama is definitely influenced by the ideas of its then ruling class. Therefore, the Yuan dramais a mirror of Yuan society that directly reflects the social living status and culturedevelopment of that age. The readers today could clearly learn from Yuan drama that the ruleof Mongolian, to great extension, has changed the traditional living style and form of cultureand art expression of Han nationality. Meanwhile, it is the conflict, communication andintegration between Mongolian and Han culture that pushed opera art to unprecedentedprosperity. In this article, the influence of Mongolian language, traditional mindset andcustoms on Yuan drama and the great contribution that Mongolian culture made to the grandunified Chinese culture will be discussed from a viewpoint of culture integration.
