Aesthetic Judgment And The Cultural Criticism: Liu Zaifu Literary Criticism Research

Liu Zaifu is a famous critic. His criticism articles are full of aesthetic conceptand criticize consciousness. The purpose of this article is to study the literarycriticism, generalize his literary concept, criticism, cultural perspective, thecontribution of academic thinking and approach. Liu Zaifu thinks that literature isaesthetic form which individual emotion examine utilitarian. On the basis of thisconcept, he emphasis on literary criticism should be based on the" spirit " and "aesthetic judgment" to criticism. With the aesthetic form and spiritual connotationcombined, his criticism builds the characteristics which show aesthetic criticism andcultural criticism.Via a study on Liu’s criticism, we could compare some current criticismsignoring affective judgments, or ignoring rational judgment. This article analyzesthat Liu Zaifu with“on proof of intuitive comprehension” method focuses in thestudy of “a dream of Red Mansion”as the object, and he explore and discover thecultural connotation. This dissertation explore its practical criticism of criticism ofthe theory of added value.
