Origined from India, Mandala has has been developed and matured in Tibetan Buddhism, and nowadays has been applied to contemporary psycho logical analysis and treatment. It hasspanned a long history and different loc al cultures, which is a civilization common schema. This commonality which is based on thHe inclusive of the circular schema of different geographical ci vilization intervention of so as to make different human civilization reach a c onsensus on themselves and cognitive of space relationship.In this article, on the foundation of Tibetan Buddhism Mandala and thr ough the collations and researches on a variety of images of the Mandala sc hema features, it discusses the unique artistic expression of the schema on t he concept of space, and conveys the visual language of the schema that th e human has treated themselves as the center of the universe and correspo nd the body structure and the inner world to the concept of" harmony bet ween the heaven and human " of the outer space.Through the interpretation of the space concept of the mandala, this a rticle hopes to make the circular schema of" freedom of spirit" obtain new development in contemporary art.
