Adverbs of frequency is a kind of word which is frequently used in both Chinese and Korean. Chinese scholars have had a heated discussion on Adverbs of frequency, but many Korean scholars are still consider Adverbs of fi’enquency as one kind of Adverbs of time.So far the research on Adverbs of frequency is mainly concentrated in the ontology level and macro level, the comparative study about a lower classification of Adverbs of frenquency is still in the initial stage. The innovation of this dissertation are as follows. First, put the adverbs of frequency as an independent kind of adverbs and mainly study one kind of it;.Second,based on the three-dimensional grammatical theory study the characteristics of the Chinese and Korean adverbs of Low frequency from the three levels of semantic, syntactic, pragmatic;Third, proposed the point that the semantic feature of Low frequency adverbs is divided into general semantic features and special semantic feature. This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter, mainly introduces the purpose and significance of this study, research scope and object, theoretical basis and analyze the research status about Low frequency adverbs.The second chapter, from the semantic angle analyse the semantic characteristics of the Low frequency adverbs and summed up the corresponding form and the corresponding condition.The third, fourth chapter,compare and analyse Low frequency adverbs of Chinese and Korean from the syntactic, pragmatic aspects.The fifth chapter, summarize the full text, and point out the deficiencies of this paper.
