Antonio Gramsci (1891-1937), as one of the founders of Italian Communist Party, was a well-known Marxism theorist and statesman in western countries. First and foremost, it analynizes the social and historical background. It Points out that the victory of the October Revolution of the20th century, as well as the failure of the proletarian revolutionary movement in Western Europe in the1920s and1930s is the social and historical origin of theory of cultural leadership. Secondly, the thesis analynizes the theoretical origins of thecultural leadership theory.
