Gramsci Cultural Leadership Theory Research

Antonio Gramsci,whose whole life has been fighting for proletarian revolution,was the early representative of Western Marxism and one of the founders of the Italian Communist Party.In 1926,he was forced to go to prison,which was framed by the Fascist government.While in prison,he still cared about the revolutionary career.After deeply studying the revolutionary course of the east and the west,analyzing the domestic and international situation,and combining his own experience in the fight,he created the Selections from The Prison Notebooks and put forward the important theory of Cultural hegemony.Gramsci’s theory of Cultural hegemony focuses on the study of ideological issues.According to the actual situation in Italy,Gramsci proposed a path different from the October revolution,which relied on organic intellectuals to obtain the "consent" of civil society,destroy the "hard armor" of the ruling class and seize power.Gramsci’s theory of Cultural hegemony not only has an important impact on the research field of ideological issues,but also has important implications for China’s ideological work and political civilization construction.
