The private economy is an important factor of our national economy and a key areain absorbing work force, while labor conflicts in private economy is also become moreand more intense. The introduction and implementation of a series of laws andregulations,"Labor Contract Law" as the core, increases the private enterprises’ laborcosts and management improvement costs. In order to achieve short-term profits andreduce internal costs, many small and medium-sized private business owners sacrificeworkers’ legitimate rights and interests, their illegal means include restrains, forcedlayoffs, labor outsourcing, and over time production, which bound to cause strongresentment among the workers and further aggravate tensions in labor relations. As abasic law for the protection of labor rights, the rationality and feasibility of "LaborContract Law" is highly controversial. Some even think that it increases labor costswhile increase the difficulty of workers’ employment. But in the specification of theenterprise employment system and the mature of promotion of China’s labor market, the"Labor Contract Law" played a significant role. It is bound to change the pattern oflabor relations and re-adjust the balance of strength and status between both employersand employees. Therefore, china’s labor relations will present new features and trends inthis transformation process.In This study, using sociological qualitative and quantitative analysis researchmethods, we first introduced the new characteristics of the "Labor Contract Law" and itseffects in adjusting labor relations. Based on questionnaire on a number of privateemployees in Chongqing Municipality, we give an objective description of theimplementation status of the "Labor Contract Law", and systematically analyzed thestatus and characteristics of china’s current labor relation in-depth. Based on which wepointed out the problems and deficiencies of China’s private enterprise labor relations.Finally, we put forward some practical measures and suggestions for China’s privateenterprises to build a harmonious labor relation. In the view of "Labor Contract Law”,this essay analyzed the status and characteristics of the labor relations of privateenterprises in China, which aims to illustrate the Characteristics and the developmenttrends of labor relations in private enterprises...
