Food is the top priority for people, and is closely related to our lives. However, the fact is wherever there is food there will be food safety problems more or less. Among all the problems is the over-using of food additives the most common and disturbing one. Food additives are called "our most familiar but strange friend", for everyday we are taking in tens of kinds of additives as we eating all kinds of food. These food additives, on the one hand, greatly satisfied our visual and taste needs, yet also do much harm to our body in different levels. Actually almost all the reported food security problems have something to do with additives, which help us realize the lack of food supervision, and this in turn promotes the complementation of some respective supervision laws and regulations as well as the punishments on those who endanger food safety. This paper first discusses the problems existing in current food supervision and management, and then illustrates the food supervision policy features of some developed countries, at last put forward personal suggestions and plans.This article is divided into a total of five parts:The first part introduces the research background and research purposes;The second part of the concept of food additives and food additives in China the basic profiles of the regulatory regime of the sort;The third part to the foreign perspective, and analyzes the legal and regulatory system of the United States, France and other countries of food additives;Part IV and the aforementioned countries, a comparative analysis of relevant measures of the perfect food additives in China legal and regulatory system;Finally, by the induction of the first four chapters summarize the conclusions of this article.
