Social Equity And Justice In The Vision Of Socialist Core Values

Socialist core values system has been described in detail in the report to the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China. At present, to make the socialist core value system to become the conscious pursuit of all members of society, it must study, refine, and formulate the socialist core values under the guidance of the socialist core value system. The socialist core value system contains a variety of multi-level values with rich content, such as prosperity, democracy, civilization, equity and justice. However, these values are not all as the socialist core values. On the one hand, socialist core values are essentially consistent with the socialist core value system. Socialist core values are the essence, as well as the soul of the socialist core value system. The most general expression of socialist core value is the socialist core values. On the other hand, do not all the values in the socialist core value system are the socialist core values but those guided Marxism and play an important part in the theory of scientific socialism system. And how much more, socialist core values base on the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Socialist core values contain a national spirit whose core is the patriotism and a spirit of the times whose core is the reform and innovation. The socialist concept of honor is a code of ethics of the socialist core values. Just as other values, the socialist core values are specific and historical. The choosing should be on the basis of national conditions and public sentiment of the early stage of development of socialism and represent the fundamental interest and the demands of the widest people. As social equity and justice are inevitable requirements for building a socialist harmonious society and a moderately prosperous society, they are most concentrated, most clearly reflect the core value proposition of socialism with Chinese characteristics. However, the flip side of that coin is although economic development is more rapid and the living standards of the masses are improving increasingly at the early stage of development of socialism, shortcomings of market economy led to a number of imperfect mechanisms and rules, which resulting in a lot of inequity and injustice. Not only do these arouse broad attention among the masses, but also become one of the most important issue which we must solve immediately at this stage of development. Therefore, study the social equity and justice in the vision of socialist core values is in accordance with the inherent requirements of the socialist core values, which ensure their innate character and make them truly realized. Social equity and justice in the vision of socialist core values includes many aspects, such as political equity and justice, economic equity and justice, cultural equity and justice, and intergenerational equity and justice. Linking with the economic foundation closely, economic equity and justice are the core and foundation of the socialist core values of justice, which determine the starting point, process and results of their other aspects. As modes of distribution play an important part in a socio-economic activities, distributive justice embodies the economic justice. Especially at this stage, a large part of the masses agreed that economic activity is fair based on their agreement of distribution equity and justice. Furthermore, the standards of social equity and justice among the masses are whether distribution is equity and justice or not, which is the most close to the masses’own lives. Therefore, study the social equity and justice in the vision of socialist core values, which is on the basis of the perspective view of distribution, is of fundamental and practical significance.On the basis of the correlation studies from the domestic and foreign scholars, firstly, this article determines four concepts of socialist core values, social equity and justice, distribution, equity and justice on distribution. After that, this article starts with studying the relationship among those concepts from the perspective of income distribution, demonstrating the socialist equity and justice should be used as the kernel of the socialist core values in detail. Discussions on social equity and justice of socialist core values leading the realization of the distribution equity and justice and the equity and justice from the view of socialism are also gived. Moreover, this article analyzes appearance and cause of inequity and injustice on distribution based on the actual at this stage, which has a negative impact on the realization of the equity and justice from the view of socialism. In the end, this article proposes some specific path to achieve distribution equity and justice, and promote the socialist core values.Through the research in this article, the relationship between socialist equity and justice and the socialist core values has been further demonstrated. Studying the equity and justice and the socialist core values from the perspective of the distribution have great significance. It is not only easy to link the real economic " foundation and the social ideology closely, but also contact the socialist ideals and beliefs with the national conditions and people’s will on the primary stage of socialism, which make this demonstrations more enriched with the theoretical and practical support. Essential and practical combination is also the innovation of this article.On the basis of conclusions, the way of eliminating the inequity and injustice on distribution is targeted and specific. It has great meaning to promote the socialist core values and practice the socialist core value system. This article is also useful to improve the built of the socialist harmonious society and the well-off society of a higher level.
