Study On Public Credibility Of The Local Government

The credibility of the government refers to the public trust on the government, The credibility of the government is the important factors which impact government’s image, also is the foundation of the modern government health running. Its level is evaluated by the object of the audience’s of the public, the higher degree of the public trust in government,the stronger that credibility of the government public trust in government, on the contrary the lower degree of the public trust in government, the weaker that credibility of the government public trust in government. The strength of the credibility of the government refers to two aspects that their own and the public. China is in the primary stage of socialism, the initial establishment of a socialist market economy, under the big background that transformation from planned economy to market economic system, the government faces more complex problems of public governance, and more requirements and expectations from the public to the government, and the government of our country is facing serious problems with the lack of credibility. Lack of the credibility of the government refers to the legitimacy of the government, if the government is hard to get the public’s understanding and support, and even sparked outrage anger, would cause aggravate social contradiction, the ultimate threat to the social stability and development.This paper mainly proceed from the local government credibility, expounds the present situation of the credibility of the local government, there exists some aspects of problems including the administrative idea, administrative system, administrative behavior and administrative personnel, consider that it’s imminent to strengthen and rebuild the credibility of the local government, and gives the construction of local government credibility measures from the corresponding part.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the paper’s significance, literature review, research framework and method. The second part gives a general analysis of the credibility of the government, including the credibility of the ideological origins and overview. The third part elaborates the performance and hazards of lack of local government’s credibility. The fourth part introduces the reasons of lack of local government’s credibility. The fifth part elaborates the measures and countermeasures to, reconstruct and rebuild the credibility of the local government in view of the problems.
