In order to promote the process of national industrialization, the Laogovernment in recent years to increase open strength, vigorously develop theinfrastructure construction such as traffic. Vientiane existing publictransportation policy operating system is still not perfect, there are still manyshortcomings, for example: public transport policy system operating systemand institutional defects; industry development concept, technology lagsbehind the development of public transportation; public transportation policyresearch personnel overall quality is poor. A series of problems have beenunable to meet the needs of socialist market economy, also hindered theVientiane public transportation industry development. The possibleinnovation in Vientiane, according to different regional characteristics, resources and factor endowment and the level of economic development, toadhere to the state, public transportation and preferential policy support, asthe basic starting point, put forward the policy recommendations of Vientianepublic transportation policy. These recommendations include: first, adhere tothe " state-owned leading, participating, dimensions to manage, orderlycompetition " principle, and gradually form the bus" industry is changed, market operation " develop new way. Secondly, improve construction sitecoverage of bus lane. The development of various forms of city public transport service. Finally, increase the city public traffic investment, build lowfare subsidy mechanism, fulfil seriously fuel subsidies and other subsidies, standardize special economic compensation, safeguard the legitimate rightsand interests, stabilize worker team, strengthen leadership, responsibility, toensure stability in the industry.
