On State Intervention Of Suicide

Suicide goes against the holy life ethical values, and brings negative effect to ourcountry, our society and our family. We shouldn’t admit that suicide is a right or free,because it didn’t meet the connotation of the right, it does not belong to right ofself-determination either, once we admit it a right we will face many legal problems,therefore, the law should not evaluate suicide, which doesn’t affect us commit suicidewithin the framework of the right to life to discuss. China has a high suicide rate, China’ssuicide has its own characteristics, social causes and social harm. The right to life is a basicright which implied in the constitution, suicide doesn’t exercise the autonomy of life, forthe purpose of protecting the citizens’ right to life, our state should take effective measuresactively to eliminate the suicide reasons, strengthen citizens’ life education to improvelife consciousness, perfect social security system to protect vulnerable groups’ interests,law enforcement officials should respect life in law enforcement, open the judicial reliefchannel to promote fair justice, make suicide prevention law intensifily, reduce suicide atits most fundamental, decrease the suicide rate.
