An Empirical Analysis Of The Social Responsibility Of Listed Companies In China

As a form of organization,the company has been granted to the corresponding character.It can possess independent property,establish independent institution,undertake independent liability.Because the company is prior to the other organization,it has played an important part to improve the development of the society.The power of the company has extend to every field of the social economy,our life have been tightly contacted to the company’s behaviour.As the modern company has been set up and been improved,it is the main reason that our country’s economy has kept the continually developing.Along with the growing of the company in our country,people begun to pay much attention to the impact of the company to our society.Under this context,company social responsibility theory gradually entered into the vision of china’s company law.Because its public feature and the normative of the corporate governance,the public company has been considered as an typical example in corporation field.So i begin with researching the situation of our country’s public company undertaking social responsibility,i analyse the problem of public company’s social responsibility with the empirical analysis method.The thesis points out the defects of public company in social responsibility field on the basis of practical stuff,and propose the corresponding improvement measure.The thesis contains three parts except THE INTRODUCTION and THE CONCOLUSION.The first part is the scope and the necessity which the public company have to bear the social responsibility.In this part,i first define the definition of company social responsibility and its extension.So i can confirm the premise of this thesis,and start to demonstrate the necessity that the public company have to bear the social responsibility.The second part is the situations that the public company have undertook the social responsibility and the causes which resulted in the situations.This part is the major component of the thesis,it also contains two parts.At first,i analyse the public company’s disclosure information system through studying a certain number public companies’ social responsibility reports.After that,i analyse the reasons which affect the public company undertaking the social responsibility.The third part is the suggestions that are used to settle the abovementioned problems.In this part,i mainly propose some corresponding suggestions which refer to legislation,enforce the law and judiciairy.I hope the social responsibility theory can promote the reasonable development of the company,and protect the other stakeholders of the company.
