With the deepening of economic globalization and trade liberalization, Green tradebarriers as a new form of trade restrictions onto the international stage with a distinctivecharacteristic of the times. It can not be ignored what it influences on world trade,especially in the area of agricultural which every country is more important now. Sincewe join in the WTO, facing the complicated and rigorous environmental measureswhich setting by some developed countries,the agricultural products of China isdifficult to access to international markets and the exports has been impact hardrepeatedly. Consequently, in this article attempt to find out the extant problems of greentrade barriers of agricultural products in China, from the point view in the legislativebasis of the WTO and the provisions of typical developed countries. Combined with theactual situation of China’s agricultural trade, from both international and domestic levels,try to evaluate and analyze objectively and put forward countermeasures to explore andopen up new ways to the green trade barriers of agricultural products in China.
