This article is divided into four chapters, except for the first chapter clarifies the question origin, the present situation of research, the purpose significance and research methods in research this problem, the paper is divided into three main parts. The first part clarifies the characteristics and role of Ideological and political education in the new rural construction. Proceed with from the background and the basic connotation of new rural construction, summed up the three characteristics about ideological and political education in new rural construction, namely the level about object of education, the diversity about education contents and education methods. Analysis the function about Ideological and political education in new rural construction, which promotes the healthy development of economic construction in new rural area, promoting democracy and legal system building the new countryside, promote development about the construction of new rural culture, to promote the gradually formed of new rural ecological civilization concept.The second part discusses the mechanism of Ideological and political education in construction of new countryside.
