In recent years, the international situation is in an age of rapid change, and theinternational crises emerge in endlessly. The occurrence of the global-shockedinternational crises like911terrorist attacks, Iraq war and international financial crisisetc., not only play a great impact to the crises-happened countries, but also is a threat toothers. The history of international relations shows that, the high number of crises is thenormal state of contemporary international community, and international crisismanagement is increasingly becoming a common mode of dealing with internationalrelations. As the two most important countries in the Cold War, both America andRussia have a set of specifications for crisis management. In this paper, taking TheCuban Missile Crisis as an example, I’ll carry on a comparative study in the differentmanagement style between two countries from the perspective of game theory. And atlast, drawing a lesson from this, I’ll offer some concrete suggestions for upgrading theinternational crisis management capabilities in our country.In addition to the introduction, this paper consists of four parts, mainly about TheCuban Missile Crisis and the international crisis management from the perspective ofgame theory. At first, the connotations and features of the international crisismanagement as well as the international crisis management from the perspective ofGame Theory and its significances are studied. In the second part, the background,causes, climax and outcome of The Cuban Missile Crisis are introduced, provided as thebackground material for the next analysis. In the third part, the impact of Cuban MissileCrisis on the US-Soviet relations and the world are summarized after my carrying on acomparative study in the different management style from the perspective of gametheory. In the forth part which is also the last, I mainly discuss the inspiration to Chinafrom the two countries before putting up the whole thinking over the international crisismanagement about China.
