The Research On The Types Of Construction Of Community Participation And The Analysis Of Its Influencing Factors

It was1991that the concept of Community Construction was raised first time. The community construction was carrying out under the country’s politic conduct, and since then, city community becomes a unit of government’s management and a media between the country and the society. In the process of community construction, there are mainly two directions:one of them is political direction and the other is community autonomy direction. These two different directions will develop in balance and condition each other under the game of varies powers in the community. In the mean time, these directions will represent different characteristics according the community’s different construct history. So, in the community construction which conducted by the Chinese government, not every community developed in a homogeny way. Therefore, comparative research on the community under this environment is very essential and necessary. The community construction can’t live without the resident’s participation. Talking about community construction without resident’s participation is nonsense because community participation is the method and the destination of community construction and the community participation is the most important content in the process of community constructing.This paper compared two communities which under totally different construct backgrounds and compared the participate behavior of these residents. According the resident’s desire, content and degree of participation in these two communities, the study formulated two type of community participation. The conclusion of the research shows that under the different constructing and developing backgrounds, communities will have different nature of representation, and their residents will have different feelings, trust and belongingness towards the community. Besides, the conscious of unity is different, there are some new community even have no sense of unity. As a person who can choose his behavior, his participating willing and action are affected by the environment of the whole community and the relationships between residents, and as a result, he will act in a different way. The one type is free expression of resident’s consciousness. The other is organized passive participation which is not a deep participation from the need of person himself. The essay is from these two angles to formulate two type of participating model from researched communities and makes a relative analysis.
