Study On The Community Building Of Huaguoshan Community In Shenzhen

In2003，our country’s economic development has entered a stage from per capitaGDP from$1000to$3000. From international experience, it is crucial period that is notonly a golden era of economic development but also a period of protruding socialcontradictions. According to this experience and the problems our social faced, thegovernment of china called to build a harmonious society in2004, and proposed tostrengthen social administration and innovation in2011. As a cell of society, thecommunity naturally became the focus of social administration innovation and thefooting of harmonious society achievement. Based on this background, the communitydevelopment became the hot field for researchers and policy recently. Since the city ispolitical and economic stage of modern society, it gathered numerous social problemswhich affect the stability of society. Therefore, it is more strategic and important tostudy the urban community development.Nanshan District of Shenzhen city, started the harmonious communitydevelopment earlier in our country, it established the strategic target of harmoniouscommunity building since the year2001. More than10years, it has made a great ofachievements: Many streets were honored as”demonstration street of harmoniouscommunity “,and multiple communities were named as " six good " safe andharmonious community. HuaGuoshan community under the jurisdiction of NanshanDistrict, is not only a civilized community of Guangdong province, a demonstrationstreet of harmonious community in our country, but also the first pilot project of socialwork’s Specialization in Shenzhen city. Thus, it plays a significance role in studying thepractice of Huaguoshan community development.This paper studies the practice of Huaguoshan community development. It firstlyintroduces the basic information of Huaguoshan community and the history ofcommunity building, shows the characteristics by specific introduction of the innovativecommunity building practice. Secondly, it assesses the practice of Huaguoshancommunity development by using the methods of questionnaires and in-depthinterviews. Finally, it bring forward some suggestion from the perspective ofcommunity service、community management、community Party construction、andcommunity participation, aiming to improve the Huaguoshan community development practice.
