The East China Sea is a Semi-closed sea surrounding by China,Japan and Korea. Sincewhere there had been found a large number of oil and natural gas in the last century60’s,many disputes happened between China and Japan in this area.On the whole,theSino-Japanese disputes in this area inclound the Diaoyu Islands territorial sovereignty dispute,the dispute of marine resources, as well as the delimitation dispute about the East China Seacontinental shelf and exclusive economic zone boundary in this area. The dispute of theresources upgraded by the development of the “Chunxiao gas field” in2004. The disputes inthe East China Sea region between the two countries had become into the conflict of interestin important fields, and even become the third big problem which affect the relations betweenChina and Japan after the Historical problem and the Taiwan problem,On the surface, the dispute about Sino-Japanese East China Sea looks like the differentunderstanding of International Law. In fact, the essence is the resources competition upgradeby economic development which lead to the dispute about energy and the sovereignty ofterritorial sea. The disputes is related to national security interests and even closely with thesecurity of Northeast Asia structural problems.The nationalism and historical grievancesbetween China and Japan are complex,and the factors of the America in this part makes thedispute about Sino-Japanese East China Sea more compelx.The chance to solve this dispute is possible but there still a lot of difficulties to face.From the Japanese strategy of traditional, national character and other factors, before wesolve the dispute we must Improvement of China-Japan relationship first.Besides, we musthave two important conditions, one is the China becomes more powerful than the JapaneseNational. The other is China and the United States reach an understanding in the competition.
