This paper primarily focuses on the research on the handwriting verification ofself freehand Chinese signature drawing.With high-speed development of science and technology, means of crime change.Meanwhile, the development of pluralistic media promotes more transparent reportsto crime. Therefore, document inspection that is one of important branches in criminalscience and technology is not strange to sophisticated criminals.Above all, there has been a trend that criminals disguise or imitate signaturehandwriting in the present. With the exacerbation of this understanding, crime scenesin detective novels have been possible and operational in real life. Signing a particularfile, sly perpetrators are likely to imitate their own signature handwritings. The aim ofthe imitation differs from imitation signature handwriting. That proves the saying “themost dangerous way is likely to be the safest method”. The method disguising his ownsignature is called “imitation of one’s own handwriting”. According to means,“imitation of one’s own handwriting” is divided into “self-tracing” and “self freehanddrawing”. In China’s graphology, there are a lot of achievements in self-tracingresearch, but there are few achievements in self freehand drawing research. A lot ofexperts and scholars point out that the amount of case of imitation of one’s ownhandwriting is far less than the amount of case of imitating signature. However,today’s impossibility is not impossible in the future, such as invention of airplane,inspection of quark, creation of crime profiling. Therefore, it is of scientific value tostudy self freehand signature drawing handwriting. Therefore, the author will regard postgraduates as experimental subjects anddesign special experimental form to give out testers. Firstly, by way of limitingconditions such as writing content, the paper will collect a certain number of testsamples. Secondly, the paper will select imitating characteristics through way of sight,microscopic observation, measuring, experimental analysis and statistical analysis.Then, contrasting self freehand signature drawing handwriting with self tracingsignature handwriting, imitating signature handwriting, the paper will analyze factorsto influence self freehand signature drawing handwriting. Finally, the paper willsummarize distinctive features between the imitation of one’s own signaturehandwriting and imitating signature handwriting, and puts forward judgingcharacteristics of the imitation of one’s own signature handwriting. The author hopesto provide a theoretical basis for the identification of the imitation of one’s ownsignature handwriting.This paper is primarily divided into three chapters.The first chapter describes a basic theoretical research of the handwritingidentification of self freehand Chinese signature drawing. Firstly, the paper willelaborate concept and classification of imitating signature handwriting, and set forthmajor peculiarities of imitating signature handwriting. On this basis, the paper willpresent the research status and the scientific basis of the handwriting identification ofself freehand Chinese signature drawing. The discussion of this chapter will supplyresearch foundations for the next chapter on the experimental research of thehandwriting of self freehand Chinese signature drawing.The second chapter is regarding the experiment of the handwriting of selffreehand Chinese signature drawing. In the light of the programs of testing, the authorwill select imitating characteristics. By observation contrast to the experiment sampleand statistics, the paper will calculate the appearance amount and rate of the imitatingcharacteristics in the handwriting of self freehand Chinese signature drawing and selftracing signature. It will also summarize factors to influence appearance of imitatingcharacteristics in self freehand signature drawing handwriting. All these arecommitted to be useful to the handwriting identification of self freehand Chinesesignature drawing.The last chapter is based on the first two chapters, proposing judgingcharacteristics to the handwriting of self freehand Chinese signature drawing.Furthermore, we should especially pay special attention to case analysis because of particularity of the handwriting of the imitation of one’s own signature.
