The Study Of The Problem Of Farmers Orderly Political Participation In China

In this paper, It studies the contemporary Chinese Peasant PoliticalParticipation on the theory of the orderly political participation, not onlyconfirm the significant progress achieved by China’s Peasants’ PoliticalParticipation, but also analyze the defects in a variety of objective andsubjective factors. This paper argues that after the founding, especiallysince the reform and opening up, the political participation of thefarmers in China has made great progresses. But there are still manydeficiencies in the ordering aspects, concrete manifestation of politicalparticipation is lack of legality, political participation is irrational, theinitiative of political participation is not strong and political participationis unlimited. Resulting in these deficiencies of the main reasons are: thequality of farmers’ political culture and political capacity to participateis generally not high, the farmers’ political participation of the legalsystem is not perfect, the level of economic development in rural areasis low, the traditional political culture have negative impact on farmersand farmers’ degree of autonomy is not high. Therefore, to promote theorderly political participation of farmers in China, it should take thefollowing measures: to prove the quality and capacity of farmers’political participation, improve farmers’ orderly political participation inthe legal system(to establish a comprehensive legal system for farmers’political participation, further improve the people’s congressrepresentative system, give full play to the role of the petitionsystem,promote the villagers’ autonomy system to develop in depthand build rules and systems for farmers’ political participate on internet),consolidate the economic base of farmers’ orderly politicalparticipation, cultivate a new political culture and improve the farmers’self-organization degree.
