The South-to-North Water Transfer Project is the construction of major strategic projects of which the government want to resolve the north China water crisis. This project will not only improve the ecological environment and investment environment of the water district, but also to promote the economic development of central China. Depending on the successful migration of the Three Gorges Project Resettlement from the revelation, the key to the success of middle route project construction is the immigration issue. The immigration issue has been seen as "core" in the political issues, despite the enormous difficulties, the cadres and the immigrant groups are subject to the overall situation, and then the relocation task were successfully completed. How to spend the adaptation period of a new life and intergrate into the local community as soon as possible are the test for immigrants at the present. A social support network is the most key that improve and enhance the quality of immigrant survival. Therefore, how to serve immigrants in the project better and build a social support network to ensure that the placement of the economic development and social harmony and stability will be the starting point for research in this article.The immigrants who are settling in the immigration Village of Nanyang, Henan Province,were take as the simple of this study, and social support theory and ecological systems theory as the theoretical support. It is using a combination of survey and interview research methods to study the community to support the status of the immigrants and to analyze the impact factors of the immigrant community support. Based on this social work value, professional ethics and working method, the feasibility if social work intervention will be explored, which the argument state that social work can not only exert their professional advantage in the immigrant steady work, but also make up the insufficiency on government’s work for the current. It points out that the social work can be used in immigrant groups from which the macro, meso, micro scopic and personal level to explore by social work in immigrant communities, and usher a perfect social support network of immigration new service model.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1. Immigration official social support which includes the national immigration policy and resettled places government support, are not perfect.2. Informal social support network has the strong convergence, and the members of the support net has the high homogeneity. Immigration interaction occurs mainly in the relocation and brought out the public and primary geographical primarily social networks, and with local people as the foundation of subprime social networks is still not fully established, so the immigration communication in their daily life was mainly impressed on their homogeneous strong group.3. The South-to-North Water Transfer Project immigrants’ social support interaction by various factors.4. Social work can play an important role in helping the government reduce pressure late in the immigration by its unique value concept and method system. In order to realize better interaction between the immigrants and the social environment, emphasize the construction of good social support network for immigration, with provides better help for the immigrants.
