A Study On Social Support Of Minor Children Involved In Social Work

With the development of society and the transformation of economic system,social contradictions gradually appear,the crime rate is also rising,and the age of criminals is getting younger and younger,resulting in the emergence of the special group of underage children of prisoners in our country.The underage children of prisoners belonging to vulnerable groups,and the parents who serve their sentences have also changed their normal lives.Whether material or spiritual,the underage children of prisoners are under great pressure.They are financially difficult,their lives are difficult to guarantee,and their social assistance is not perfect.Whether it is the community,the family or the school,the support for the minor children of the prisoners is much lower than that of the underage children of the prisoners.Their needs.Therefore,this paper takes the underage children of 5 prisoners in R county uninsured center as the research object,unifies the existing research results,comprehensively uses the interview and the observation method to carry on the data collection,under the guidance of the social support network theory,This paper analyzes the problems and needs of the minor children of the prisoners,and finds that the problems of the minor children of the prisoners are caused by the lack of family support,peer support,school support and community support.And according to this,the social work case service for the minor children of the prisoners,according to the process of receiving,predicting,planning,implementing,evaluating and closing the cases,the social support of the minor children of the prisoners is intervened,help them gain support from communities,families,schools and peers,improve their social support networks,and improve their ability to adapt to the environment and face problems.The results show that there are some advantages in social work intervention in the social support of underage children of prisoners,and improving social support is also helpful to solve the problems of underage children of prisoners.Finally,under the guidance of social support network theory,this paper puts forward some suggestions from three aspects: increasing government policy support for minor children of prisoners,strengthening social propaganda and education to eliminate prejudice against underage children of prisoners,and strengthening family care support to promote the physical and mental health growth of underage children of prisoners.The purpose of this paper is to explore the sustainable and positive development of social support for underage children of prisoners.
