The Analysis On The Legal Protection Of Financial Comsumers In China

With the development of the reform and opening-up policy as well as the globalization,China’s financial industry has made considerable progress. The financial products and services which are provided by many new financial institutions are becoming increasingly developed. However, the contradiction between the financial institutions and financial consumers is deepening.This article is divided into five chapters, reached about36,000words.It is started by introducing the concept and rights of the financial consumer and its weak position.Then set some infringement cases to reveal the present status of the financial consumers.Finanly, by analyzing the foreign legislations, proposals are raised from two angles of legislation and system to improve the protection of consumer rights in China. The first chapter is divided into three. The first section discussed the concept of consumers and gave a deep analyze of clarification and features of the need and demand.The second chapter gives the introductions of consumers’weak position.The third chapter started from the Consumer Protection Law and financial law to discuss the consumer protection system in China. And emphasis the importance of financial consumer protection through the case analysis.The fourth part introduced the foreign legislations in financial cousumer and how we can learn from them.Finally, in chapter five, on recommendations of principles in financial consumer rights protection,the suggestions are made from the perspectives of legislation and institutional building.
