Normally, financial consumers who have themselves’ characteristics are different from the general consumer, which is expanding the gap between the consumers and operators in unequal status before. This will bring about objective needs of protection for the financial field of consumers. Especially, in the background of developing Internet Financial, the potential value that individual financial information promotes financial competitiveness inspires the integration and utilization of consumer’s individual pieces of information by the advantage status in the financial industry, which leads to gaining enthusiasm of illegal benefits. Our country drop behind in the field of financial consumer privacy legislation in contrast to individual financial information and consumers. At present, our country has not to improve the system of specific legislation for the financial consumer privacy, which evens absence like "financial consumer", "privacy" and other basic concepts of the legal confirmation. In this paper, which deep understanding the financial status for the protection of consumer privacy, we are trying to explore the development path of the privacy protection for our financial consumer by combining mixed operation of Internet financial in the developed background, and the necessity of financing consumer special protection for the starting research in reference to foreign systems. There are four points as follows.The first part: with the view of special vulnerable financial consumer, this part is defined in sorting out the financial consumers and financial consumer privacy simply by combining high personal financial demand with personal financial security of information, which puts forward the necessity of special protection of financial consumers’ privacy concerning about the financial market as a whole development in this realistic background. Because, with the anglicizing the current situation of legislation and realizing the in-depth understanding of the privacy protection for financial consumers, the real challenges brought about business process of virtual, financial product innovation, change and other reasons to publicity of personal financial information protection,.The third part: this part mainly try to provide a thought on the path of the macro level from the aspect of legislation to protect the construction concept, value balance, legislative mode selection for China’s financial consumer privacy protection mechanism, which includes macro construction around the financial consumer privacy protection mechanism of expansion, the introduction and reference of personal financial information protection related system in Europe and the United States, combined with China’s Internet financial mixed operation and the development reality,.The fourth part: this part is to undertake the above about legislative idea, value choice, and the protected mode on the basis of macro level cognitive orientation by concreting expansion of financial consumer privacy protection mechanism construction work. We concrete suggestions for China’s financial consumer privacy laws, such as the establishment of education work, the relief mechanism of the micro level construction, which provided by beneficial experience from Europe and the United States mainly.
