After China’s Reform and Opening, the market system had changed from Planed Economy to Market Economy, and every aspect of the social economic system has been changing in a critical degree, especially the mores of farmers. Nowadays, the mores of farmers is an important part of the promoting cultural and ideological progress of the new society, and also a critical for the "local custom civilization". In the recent decades, after the new policies of the government, every perspective of farmers’culture has been improved, including mores and recognition of the law. However, under the influences of the traditional morality which existed for thousands of years, it is difficult for farmers to change their notions of the mew society and economic system. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the level of the farmers’living in China, which will provide a better background for farmers’recognitions of the new morality. The thesis used literature reviews, questionnaires and surveys as its research methods. The samples of this research are gathered from Dong taiping County in Jilin Province. Using the dataset collected by the surveys, this paper will provide the conclusions and discussions of the result of this research. Analyses of the constraining elements to Chinese farmers’mores will be conducted after summarizing the current conditions and situations of the farmers’moralities, which will provide better and more effective measures to improve farmers’moralities.
