Paying Attention to ideological and political education is a unique advantage for ourarmy troops. At present, the international strategic situation is undergoing profoundchanges, and our society is in a major turning point, there are contradictions and strugglesin the field of ideological and political. Improving the method of ideological and politicaleducation and strengthen the effectiveness of ideological and political education canimplement the party’s basic theory、basic line and basic program, ensuring the constructionof socialist modernization smooth, It has very important significance.PLA is a people’sarmy under the absolute leadership of the party, It is an important force to reflect the partyand state political advantage of ideological and political education,It must be placed in thetop of the building of the armed forces, and give full play to the role of political lifeline.One of the ideological and political educations has always been the core work of thearmy, not only related to the excellence cultivation and development of military tradition.And also related to the core values of contemporary military which nurturing andcultivating fighting spirit. So how to improve effectiveness of ideological and politicaleducation methods based on status of nowadays is the heavy task for military and politicalworkers.This article is based on the research of ideological and political education’s methodsand trying to provide a reference for improving the army’s ideological and politicaleducation methods. Full text is composed of six parts:Part I:This paper describes the background, the significance of the topic and relatedareas of present situation..Part II: The army’s ideological and political education method is the unity ofobjectivity and dialectic; it is associated commonly which is the theoretical basis of ourstudy. Followed by studying the army’s ideological and political education method in theancient Chinese and Western countries, revealing the general laws of development of theseeducational methods; The development through the study of our military methods ofideological and political education, revealing the special laws of this change anddevelopment; From research of different military education in different times,,we cansummarize and draw on the absorption of advanced methods from the historicalbackground of our study. PART III: sort out the Prevalent methods in the army’s ideological and politicaleducation. Showing that the methods of current ideological and political education in themilitary including a "rational approach", the "inductive approach”.Part IV: Described a specific practical application in the ideological and politicaleducation, and take the examples of strengths and areas for improvement of these methods.Part V: we can see these methods are our valuable asset of ideological and politicalwork, but also need to recognize that the ideological and political education is still facing avariety of new problem, both the external world, but also internal factors in the newsituation.
