"Public figures" concept in our country belongs to the imported product, firstappeared in the United States in the case, now already for the common use, and inthis paper the limits the scope of public figures. Privacy laws in our country has aregulation, but mainly as a part of the personality right there, and no more strictly,but obviously the provisions of the law on the protection of emphasis is not enough.This paper studies the key lies in has become the hot spots of society "public figuresnetwork privacy issues". The rapid development of science and technology in thenetwork era, the network life has been closely related with the real life, even everyminute in affects the real life. Background focus on large data and micro bo era givepeople life bring great changes. About public figures privacy problem belongs to thetraditional significance, Chinese scholars and law has been involved in. However,under the environment of network privacy, public figures in the law has not beenformed perfect protection mode. Therefore, this article through the relevant research,analysis of the foreign protected mode, is mainly by the European Union on behalfof the legal regulation leading mode, and in the United States as a representative ofself-discipline dominant mode. Through the contrast analysis, found that thecombination of the use will be the most suitable for China’s protected mode. So toconclude that our country should use legal regulation is given priority to,self-discipline, supplemented by protected mode, in view of the protected mode, andput forward a concrete way to construct. Laws and regulations including theconstitution in the protection, the protection of civil law. Self-discipline aspectsincluding setting statement, established industry association, setting the industrystandard, etc.
