As an important means of the correction, psychological treatment for criminal incommunity correction has become a necessary content of Chinese community correctionwork. Along with the "measures for the implementation of community correction" jointlyformulated by the Supreme People’s court, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, theMinistry of public security, the Ministry of Justice has come on stage, psychologicalcorrection is gradually on the road of rule of law. But there is no doubt that the theory andresearch about the psychological correction still exist many shortcomings, so theadvantages of the psychological correction that reflects the trend and value of InternationalHumanitarianism of punishment and reformation are not fully shown. Taking into accountthe theory and practice problems of the psychological correction in China, the writer putsforward to building the system of psychological treatment with Chinese culture ofcommunity correction to improve the non-prison penalty and make the psychologicaltreatment system play an important role in the Chinese criminal judicial reformation.In the first, the writer discusses the meaning and theoretical foundation of thepsychological treatment in Chinese community correction. At the same time, the writeranalysis the basic theory and difficulties of the correction system in depth, putting forwardto the basic rights enjoyed by the corrected people and the status of theory and research inChina. Following, the writer introduces the common abnormal psychological phenomenonand puts forward five etiological models of abnormal psychology. Followed by it, thewriter points out the principles of psychological treatment abided by the officer incommunity correction. At last the writer discuses points out to build the psychologicaltreatment system with the characters of Chinese culture. At first, from specialization of thepsychological treatment work team to the use of Chinese Buddhist culture, combing withthe characteristics of Chinese relationship orientation and social construction psychology,the writer puts forward to psychological treatment ways of Chinese culture characters.Finally, it offers the suggestions in capital, equipment investment at hardware protectionand scientific methods. Only in this way can the level of the psychological treatment improve in Chinese correction work.
