An Empirical Study On Psychological Correction Of Juvenile Community Prisoners

The proportion of juvenile offenders who was sentenced community corrections by a judge has become more and more in recent years.It reached about one third of the total in 2017.Obviously,the statue of community correction in juvenile delinquency penalty system is increasingly hard to ignore.Juvenile offenders who receive community corrections are called juvenile community prisoners.Psychological corrections of juvenile community prisoners has become a important means to improve the quality of correction,and it plays an increasingly important role in the process of realizing the re-socialization of juvenile community prisoners.Firstly,this article puts forward the theoretical origin of psychological corrections for juvenile community prisoners,defines some important concepts such as juvenile community prisoners and so on,introduces several common psychological problems among them,and briefly expounds the legislative status of psychological corrections and typical projects nationwide for juvenile community prisoners.It lays a solid methodological foundation for the following contents.I set psychological corrections programs for juvenile community prisoners as the research objects,which were carried out by Dexin social work service center of Hunan province and several community centers that cooperated with Dexin,and explored the experience and problems in the process of project operation.Such as the clear cooperation mechanism between social organizations providing social work services and community correction centers,the experience of treating juvenile community prisoners who have been corrected as ordinary people and neither criminals nor psychotic patients,the shortage of staffing,and the rejection of minors to psychotherapy.After analyzing these experiences and problems,I believe that solving these problems should be the first to make up for the legislative gaps as soon as possible.The second is to strengthen the construction of community corrective workers,especially the role of volunteers and the professional level of the workers.The third is to establish a correct concept of psychological correction for juvenile community prisoners,and the last is to strengthen the construction of community corrective workers,explore the way to carry out psychological correction activities in the family relationship mode,and give full play to the special role of family members in the psychological correction of juvenile community prisoners.
