| In recent years, with the persistent practice of community correction in our country, the number of community correction staff are also expanded. However, community corrections still have certain limitations. Most judicial corrections are too superficial and formal in the punishment and supervision of correction personnel. The moral education of correctional objects is quite inadequate, resulting in the unsatisfactory outcome of community corrections.Moral-self concept is an important part of self-awareness.Inappropriate moral concept leads to the deviation conduct. Also,in the process of community correction,it is impossible to eliminate the criminal tendency completely without changing perception and evaluation of their own moral status. Therefore, the moral self-concepts of community correction personnel are need to be improved. It is of great significance to prevent the re-offending of correction personnel, regulate the moral behavior of correction personnel and thus maintain social stability. In this study,we focus on the moral-self concept of community correction of personnel. We discuss in depth on the status of the moral self-concepts of community correction by using qualitative research methods and quantitative research methods to conduct a survey of 70 community correction personnel in the S Judiciary. At the same time,we interviewed 8 community correction personnel in-depth and found some common problems in their moral self-concepts.The problems include:at the level of individual moral self-concept,there are deviations in moral self-awareness,poor emotional control ability, and weak legal consciousness;at the level of family moral self-concept,the original family moral education is absent, and the family relationship is tense;at the level of social morality self-concept,social responsibility is insufficient, empathy is absent and there exists indifference in interpersonal communication.Based on the diagnosis of these problems,we selected a typical client and tried to intervene in social work methods. We mainly use Case Work method on the basis of theory such as “people in environment”and narrative therapy as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy as basic intervention models on the client’s moral self-concept.With narrative therapy,we try to externalize problems, rewrite dialogue and reconstruct life stories in order to help the client separate problems, review the past experience, find ignored positive fragment of life and reshape moral-self of himself. With cognitive-behavioral therapy,we help the client to correct inappropriate moral cognition and behavior, alleviate family conflicts and cooperate with community correction. We have some findings:firstly, narrative therapy and cognitive behavior therapy can be combined organically;secondly, social work intervention can effectively improve the moral self-concept of community correction personnel;thirdly, the theory of "people in the situation" can be well applied to the intervention of moral self-concept of community correction personnel.Furthermore, this research also reflects on the process, model and skills of social work methods involved in the moral self-concept of community correction personnel and analyze the factors that affect the moral self-concept of the community correction personnel including mechanisms of moral disengagement, moral cognition, moral education and value orientation of egoism. Therefore,in order to r strengthen the effect of community correction on community correction personnel and improve their moral self-concepts,we propose to pay attention to the application of social work methods and concepts in community correction, innovate local community correction models, strengthen the daily moral education of correction personnel, targeted moral education courses, link resources around community correction personnel and build a corresponding platform for legal moral education. |
