Nowadays, with the rapid development of the material civilization, happiness isgetting worse. At present, China is entering the strategic development stage of buildwell-off society and the fully implement the scientific concept of development, happinesshas become a high-profile issues of the government and the people. Therefore, the studyof the Marx’s happiness view has great theoretical and practical significance.Comparative research and historical research are used to write papers. It is the mainpurpose of the paper that guide people’s values properly, perfect the Marx’s concept ofhappiness advancing with the times and guide people to pursuit happiness scientific.This paper discusses the definition of happiness, the nature of happiness, misfortune,their causes and the ideal state of happiness firstly. Marx’s happiness is that people meettheir own needs with own will in a free and conscious activities, human misfortune iscaused due to the private system of alienation, only to the communist society, alienationdisappear completely, mankind will have true happiness. Then analysis Marx’s happinessfrom four basic dimensions, profoundly reveals the material, spirit, freedom and socialsystem on the influence of life happiness. Matter is the foundation of the pursuit ofhappiness, and spirit can bring more lasting happiness felling; freedom is the most basichuman needs, it is an important factor to realize human happiness, Without freedom, lifehas lost its meaning, happiness is not mentioned; Good social system is an importantguarantee to realize human happiness. Last summarize the characteristic of the Marx’shappiness view, as: the unity of subjectivity and objectivity, the unity of labor and enjoy,the unity of material life and spiritual life, the unity of personal happiness and socialhappiness. It allows us to have a more scientific view to happiness and is the importantguide our future happiness.
