The quality education of Chinese police has now become an important part of the construction of police team, although overall quality of the People’s Police has been greatly improved compared to the past, in the new era, there are many problems in the quality education of police with changing situations of the world and the country. So that we must enhance our quality education of police to meet the new requirements of the public security work in the new situation.In view of that, the connotation, characteristic, basic structure and educational goals of our quality education of police should be discussed systematically. And the current situation and the problems of quality education of police will be analyzed comprehensively in the new era. Adhering to the people of this theory, sustainable development view, the view of practice, lifelong education concept, and learning the advanced experience of the quality education of police in the United States, Britain, France, Australia and other Western developed countries. In the new period,some countermeasures are put forward to improve the quality education of our police from the strategic perspective, including that, to establish the concept firmly, understand the importance fully, strengthen the construction of teaching staff, guide the quality education of police with the concept of modern education and talent, reform the content, methods, ways and means, establish the modern training base, improve our legislation, modulate the management system and strengthen the international exchanges and cooperation.It will be of benefit to further improving the overall quality of our police from the double level of theory and practice ultimately.
