In the new historical trend, the responsibility which the armory assumes is becoming more and more difficult. The traditional management mode of the armory can’t meet the demands of the modem combat which requires high precision and fast rhythm. So improving the ability of the armory management quickly has been urgent for the systematic construction of the armory. With the development of RFID and sensor technique, the Internet of things has been becoming more and more widely applied in the field of military.On the basis of in-depth study on the Internet of things and in combination with the practical requirements of the management of the armory, this dissertation proposes a solution of the information visibility system of the management of the armory based on the Internet of things. The main research content is listed as follows:The definition of the armory has been explained, and the main content of the management of the armory has been illustrated. The present situation of the management has been researched and its shortcomings have been analyzed. The information of the armory has been classified, especially for ordnance material. The main content of the visual management of the armory has been stated and the management tasks and principles have been elaborated.The key technology in the process of the visual management of the armory has been discussed, focused on the Internet of things which includes RFID, sensor technique and so on.According to the need of the information management of the armory, the information visibility system of the management of the armory has been constructed. The overall function design of the system has been completed and so has the each subsystem design in details.Combined database technology and computer technology, the system and some subsystem such as the comprehensive information inquiring and updating subsystem, armory management subsystem and auxiliary learning subsystems have been implemented. Part of the system function has been demonstrated.Finally, the full text work has been summarized and the next step research direction has been pointed out in view of the deficiencies.
