Confucian thought is an important part of Chinesetraditional culture, the moral education thought has occupieda very important position in China and even the world. Confucianthinker in "the Analects of Confucius"," Mencius ","University "," doctrine of the mean " and other works,systematically discusses the main contents and methods ofConfucian moral education, established a system of theories ofmoral education more complete. In the thousands of years ofhistory of the Chinese nation, Confucian moral educationthought enriched the Chinese people generation aftergeneration of thought, especially the core values of Confucianmoral education, the moral education content, have a profoundimpact on the later theory of moral education practice methodof moral education." Benevolence " is the core of the theoretical system ofConfucian moral education. Confucius said," benevolence ","benevolence" refers to the love between people, to giveourselves love others. Confucius benevolence thought, and notonly on the " family ", but from the filial piety, and then continue to spread, the commander of the love and respect,kindness and sincerity of friends and so on, finally reachedthe " pan-loving public, widely popular " love, love all thepeople, to the universal human love. In the Confucian moraleducation content, honest and trustworthy, the whole world asone community, humility comity and ideological essence can beto the current our country citizen moral education problemswere effective and targeted education and correction. In themethod of Confucian moral education thoughts in the province,careful alone, environment edification, teachingdemonstration method on the current practice of citizen moraleducation in our country still has the important instructionfunction.Since thirty years of reform and opening up, with thedevelopment of civic education in China to deepen and expand,the citizen’s moral construction has gradually formed thesocialist moral system compatible with the socialist marketeconomy, the quality of the citizens, social and moralcivilization have been significantly improved. However, due tothe current our country is in the key period of social transformation, influence by the impact of market economy, theWestern values and materialism, the erosion of citizen moraleducation lacking in many aspects, there are some problems inthe family education, school education, social education,occupation moral education, moral education in my field Chinesecitizens. The Confucian thought of moral education has apositive meaning, to solve the moral problems in education andtherefore, we need to absorb and draw the essence of Confucianmoral education, providing theoretical support for the moraleducation of our citizens, so as to improve the citizen’s morallevel and quality, raise citizen’s happiness index.In this paper, the essence of Confucian moral educationthought and contemporary civic moral education link, the useof dialectical thinking and development to evaluate and treatthe Confucian moral education, the moral education of citizensin Modern Enlightenment from the Confucian moral educationessence. This paper expounds the essence of Confucian moraleducation content and method, in the content, from theexcellent thoughts of Confucian moral education system in twoaspects of personal self-cultivation and social life of the interpretation of Confucian moral education; in the method, todiscuss the methods and experience of Confucian moral educationthoughts from two aspects of Confucian moral self and moraleducation practice. Secondly, in the fully affirmed theachievements of citizen moral education in our country at thesame time, the reason combined with some problems in our moraleducation field in contemporary society and its problems, theConfucian moral education thoughts in the Civil Moral Education:one is, from my education: careful alone, to achieve harmony;two is, family education: promoting filial piety, to createa harmonious family; three, school education and training:principle, perfect personality; the four is the socialeducation: honesty, loyalty, good moral environmentconstruction.This paper hopes through the practice of Confucian moraleducation thoughts into the current moral education of citizens,to provide good support for the theory of citizen moraleducation in our country, in the hope of the moral educationpractice of citizen can improve the effectiveness of thecontemporary citizen moral education work, to Gao Gongmin’s moral level and the quality of citizens, to form a good moralityplays a certain role, provides a good theoretical basis for theconstruction of socialist harmonious society.
