Exploring The Key Factors Of Continuing Usage Intention Of Government Online Forums

In recent years, government pays attention to public online participation seriously. With E-Democracy grows up, citizen participation is one of the significant components. Therefore, citizens’ attitude and intention are crucial for setting up the E-democracy of government. Whether citizens is able to identity and actively participate in electronic democratic system is the key to success. This research paper is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, and selected the citizens who have been used the government online forums before. Try to find out the factors that may affect their continuance usage intention. According to these factors, we make strategies to find out the further direction of the E-Government which is supported by government online forums.According to the the Theory of Planned Behavior, citizens’ continuance usage intention of the government online fForums is affected by the attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavior control. This study is attempted to build a complete model which is based on the Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior. And references the related research by by Domestic and foreign scholars. Through empirical research, We find out the factor that influence the government online forums is attitude, perceived behavior control, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived of risk. Only subjective norm does not have any obvious influence the continuance usage intention. Overall, the most crucial factor affecting citizens’ usage intention is their attitude toward using Government Online Forums. In addition, this study shows that, the citizens’ attitude is mostly affected by the Usefulness and ease of the forum.The innovation of this paper may demonstrate as:(1) Government online forums and E-Democracy electronic mailbox are wildly used in recent years based on E-Democracy society.
