In recent years, with the development of computer, more and more people are using theinternet for online transaction,mainly besause of the features quickly, convenient and low-cost.However, online transaction is not a face-to-face transaction, so the consumer’s right to knowis much easier to hurt.Therefor, we should protect the consumer’s right to know in onlinetransaction.The thesis is divided into four parts totally:The first part briefly introduces some typical cases.In this part, by introducing two typicalcases in judicial practise, we can put forward the controversial problem of the case. Who canbear the loses suffered by consumers? What is the reason that the consumer’s right to know ismuch easier to hurt? How can we protect the consumer’s right to know? Let people knowabout the online consumer’s right to know the concept of legal characteristics as well as itssignificance.The second part concerns the principles of interpretation about the consumer’s right toknow in online transaction. An overview about the consumer’s right to know in onlinetransaction. The third part provides analysis of consumer right to know against the characteristics ofonline transactions. Legal protection for the consumer’s right to know in online transactionhave ever became the hot topics. But, there are some problems in the protection of consumer’sright to know in online transaction. For example: legislative system supplies insufficient;judicial remedy is hindered;Supervision and managements system performs asthenia. Onlinecredit system is not established. The thesis provides online trading in the consumers’ right to aspecial performance of the aggrieved and analysis by the reasons of its infringement.The fourth part provides improving policies of the consumers’ right to protect onlinetransactions. For the good development of internet consumptive economy, we must protect theonine consumer’s right to know, and take the reasonable measure: Firstly, we should makeclear obligation of disclosing information for the manager online,strengthen legal regulationon the false advertisement online; Secondly, for the judicial remedy, we should use thejurisdiction beneficial to consumer,estabish identity authentication for manager online;Thirdly, we should strengthen the supervision and management, at the same time,we shouldestablish the evaluate system of online credit, also build enterprises’ credit public summons,grant the sign of online credit and create the system of online evaluate.
