This new e-commerce transaction model developed rapidly and gradually replaces traditional shopping with its characteristics of convenient, fast, and low price.It is playing an increasingly important role in people’s daily lives. With the development of society, the improvement of the law, consumers increasingly understand and value their right to know in the consumption process. But the right has not been fully protected because of the law’s hysteresis quality. It is necessary to protect consumer’s right to know in B2C and C2C e-commerce mode for the reason that these two mode aim at personal consumption and are so wide-ranging. This article briefly introduced not only the characteristics of B2C and C2C but also characteristics of consumer’s right to know in the two shopping pattern,then according to the result of an online survey of the protection state of consumers’right to know in these two shopping patterns, by investigating the content of relevant legal system and analyzing legal difficulties in the process of protecting consumers’right to know of online shopping to find out the inadequate in the protection of the rights, and improving the legal protection of the right to know of online shopping from the following aspects: Firstly, to expand the scope of protection of online shopping consumers’right to know and require mandatory disclosure obligations of network operators; Secondly, to establish and improve the mating assort system; Thirdly, to strike a serious blow at click farming.Fourthly, to establish relevant dispute settlement mechanism;By improving legal system of the protection of online shopping consumers’right to know to make online shopping consumers’ right to know more effective protection, and thus protect the long-term development of e-commerce.
