On The Marxism Power Supervision Theory And Its Revelation

Once not being subject to supervision, power will lead to corruption; this is the negative effect of power. How to supervise and restrict power has been an important theme in the political life of mankind. Marx and Engels deemed that in certain social relations, power embodies the strength that one party dominates the others. Therefore, in a country, issues about power are all crucial. In the guidance of proletariat revolution and the building of social countries, Marx. Engels and other classical writers have carried on theoretical reflection and practical exploration on the restriction and supervision of public power. The inner-party democratic system, supervisory system and masses’s supervision system that they created can be useful experience for the ruling party in China.At present, the situation of power supervision and restriction of the Party’s power is still grim. From the aspect of the country’s national condition, the Communist Party of China is the sole legal ruling party in China and the center of power, on one hand, it will ensure the Party’s core position in the cause of socialist construction, on the other hand, it can cause the power supervision of the Party and government cadres lose efficacy. In terms of the current situation of power supervision system, power supervision and restriction mechanism inside Party is still immature and imperfect; The special situation of our country make supervision from democratic parties and organization of power exist in name only:because of the blocked interests expression mechanism, the mass supervision effect is very little. Social groups and media are playing an more and more important role in power supervision system, but their growth also need correct guidance from government policies and regulations; officials lacking of faith has increased the difficulty in construction of anti-corruption. From the aspect of realistic situation, our country is still in the primary stage of socialism, the economic root of corruption and power abusement is not completely eradicated. Besides, our country is in the special period of social and economic transition, rapid social change and the imperfect legal system make the high incidence of corruption-prone become possible. A variety of factors indicates that it is an important political task to construct and perfect the power supervision system both inside and outside the Party, also it concerns the future and destiny of the Communist Party of China.In this paper, by studying Marx, Engels and Lenin’s classical works related to elaboration, summarizing the basic principle and content of Marxism power supervision theory, according to the new situation and changes of power supervision, analyzing the defects and shortcomings of power supervision system towards the ruling party, combining with Marx’s power supervision theory, eventually, methods to innovate China’s ruling party power supervision system will be put forward.
