China’s volunteer service enterprises got a rapid development inrecent years. It became an important content of social constructionin our country, and played a unique role of success in many importantevents. China’s voluntary service started relatively late in China.Since the reform and opening up, under the influence of thecontinuous development of the country’s economic, political, peopleare increasingly aware of the limitations of the government andenterprises to solve social problems, in addition to the governmentand for-profit sectors, and a virtuous society running need volunteerservice to play "lubricant "role. In this case, it virtually providedvolunteer services to carry out a broad development platform. Orderto better integrate with the international community, to better servethe broad masses of the people, to complement the functions of thegovernment, the congress report also made it clear called"strengthen social construction" and "improve the social voluntaryservice system", making the study of volunteer services urgent.China since the reform and opening up, volunteer service before buddevelopment, compared with developed countries, voluntary servicesince embryonic development, maturity has gone through hundreds ofyears of history, a wealth of practical experience, advancedtheoretical support, as well as the relatively perfect system protection for volunteer services take root in our country continue togrow and provide the necessary conditions. However, in this shortdecades, voluntary service combined with a unique mode of"Chinese-style", springing up, the rapid development of boom andgrowth, but it still lack the relatively advanced theoretical support,poor practice experience, a single service model backwardintegration of rules and regulations, the government and voluntaryservices limits the development of voluntary service in China. Initiallythis top-down management model is helpful for quickly developmentin China, but with the constant development and Chinese volunteerservices to achieve the development bottleneck. Therefore, finishingand dredge the ins and outs of the development of volunteer service inChina is particularly necessary.In this paper, by using literature research, comparative analysis,normative analysis and empirical analysis method research, followthe "questions related concept, domestic and foreign experience forreference, the empirical reality analysis, concrete countermeasuresstudy" to start a research train of thought. Specific aspects: First,from the related concept of volunteer service to start, the traditionalideological foundation to trace the development of volunteer serviceat home and abroad as well as the course of the development ofmodern volunteer service, elaborated contemporary China’svolunteer service development focus from the composition of the typeof voluntary service organizations, patterns of development andpolicy the situation, as well as the emergence of a variety of problemsin the development process and recommendations. Though since thereform and open policy, volunteer service development outstanding achievement, but compared with international advanced level ofvolunteer service, we still exist such as lack of volunteer serviceparticipants, voluntary service, shortage of funds on the volunteerservices main body and is not widely and many other shortcomings.By contrast appeared our voluntary service needs to be improved toplace. Finally, in the context of globalization, introduces the macrotrends of the development of international voluntary service, but alsointroduces in detail the development of voluntary service in China willface in the future trend. By this article, it shows a correct view of ourgeneration of volunteer service, the present and future trends of theoverall interpretation.
