The construction of the powerful cultural country is the only way of the modernization of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The eighteen report clearly emphasizes that " Firmly pushing forward the construction of the powerful cultural country ", which fully demonstrating a high degree of cultural consciousness and cultural confidence of the Chinese Communist Party, and reflecting the full confidence and determination on the Party’s leading to promoting the cultural construction, to building a well-off society. The eighteen report particularly pointes out that we should "constructing the outstangding traditional culture inheritage system, and carrying forward Chinese outstanding traditional culture". Chinese traditional culture especially the Chinese traditional virtues is the foundation of contemporary civilization of China and the construction of powerful cultural country. Today, as constructing the core values of socialism, we should and can achieve enlightenments from the excellent traditional culture, and resources and supportings. As the Chinese culture is the indomitable power of the Chinese nation to keep forging ahead in unity, it is essential to find out some useful theories, concepts, methods and so on from the traditional Chinese culture to optimize the current moral education work, and to enrich moral education theory system. Actually, traditional culture and moral education is in a mutually reinforcing relationship that traditional culture has a rich content of moral education and moral education can carry forward the traditional culture, conversely,"the Appendices" is one of the classics masterpiece of the most unique traditional Chinese culture, which has a large number of moral records. Therefore, it is vital to have a research on moral education in "the Appendices"In order to promote the moral education in innovative research and the construction of socialism core value system and cultural development and prosperity, this paper will make an in-depth study on the moral education thoughts in "the Appendices" systematically and theoretically. Specifically, the article consists of five parts. The preface introduces the reason for topic selection, the research summary, the methods, the research approach and innovative points in detail. The first chapter describes the concrete entries (moderation, kindheartedness and justice, credit, modest and prudent) exhaustively, and discussing the main connotation of the "the Appendices" on the moral education thoughts briefly. The second chapter expounds the basic framework, including the origin theory, the goal theory, the contents, the principle and the standards, systematizing the moral education thoughts which are shattering in "the Appendices" The third chapter makes a comments on the moral education thoughts of "the Appendices" from two dimensions, the value and the limitation. The forth chapter presents three useful responses that embodiment of the moral objects and highlighting the moral model of teachers; enriching moral experiences and respecting for the object’s choices; integrating the social resources and making a formation of moral education together.
