With the continuous deepening of China’s reform and opening up, the development of socialist market economy, the development of wider coverage, higher level, the beneficiaries more social business has become more and more important.Gansu is a multi-ethnic province, since the reform and opening up, especially since the implementation of western development strategy, the rapid development of Gansu’s ethnic minorities and minority areas of economic society, all social undertakings progress, people’s living standards improve significantly. But, on the whole, the development of social undertakings of ethnic minorities or not comprehensive, imbalance and low level of development of social undertakings in ethnic minority areas, heavy task, imminent, to maintain the stability of ethnic minority areas, ethnic area comprehensive development of great significance.Taking Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Dongxiang Autonomous County as an example, aims at the present situation of social development of Dongxiang Autonomous County Rural and difficulties, the development of Dongxiang Autonomous County rural social undertakings, to improve the application of rural autonomous county of Dongxiang public service level and the path and method of performance, and on the development of rural social undertakings in ethnic areas in Gansu province to provide reference. This article believed that, to speed up the development of rural social undertakings in ethnic minority areas, we must focus on the development of the basic public services in education, health, employment, effectively improve the livelihood of the people; to promote the coordinated development of various social undertakings, and strive to achieve the equalization of basic public services; deepening social reform, increase policy support, guiding, encouraging social forces participation, construct diversified development pattern, encourage social forces to participate in, the formation of public service professionals to promote the healthy development of social undertakings in rural areas.
